Condolence: Dill, and previously Wanda, has been a good neighbor to our garage on Lincolnway. Dill would always come out to talk when I came to park the truck in the garage. Dill and Wanda had a wonderful garden and would share the vegetables with me. I even bought Dill's tiller after he was done with it. Dill liked to supervise the loading of the Ragbrai truck. He would bring over treats and drinks to share with the bike club members who were loading the truck. Dill came to visit me twice when I was on Ragbrai. He came to Steamboat Rock one year and then to Monroe in a different year. He always brought water and a sign that said it was the best water in Iowa and it came from Marshalltown. Dill made a scrapbook of the transformation of the house that was on the property to the garage that is there today. He gave me the scrapbook and I still have it. Dill will be greatly missed because he was such a nice, friendly neighbor.
