Condolences

Condolence From: Cynthia Augspurger
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to your family. For many years I sang alto in the First United Methodist Chancel Choir with Evie. She was always so happy and glad to see you. What a gentle woman she was. My thoughts and prayers will be with your family this holiday season.

Condolence: Our deepest condolences to the family. I know she will be profoundly missed by so many. I had the pleasure of meeting my Great-Aunt Evie for the very first time last month at Kathy Roughton's home. There was such an immediate connection with her. She was warm, loving, funny, and had such generosity of spirit. She told me stories of my father that I will remember forever. I am so blessed to have met her and I only wish I could have spent just a little more time with her. I hope it gives you comfort that she is in God's hands now and has eternal peace and joy. With love, Cathy

Condolence From: Diane Stevens
Condolence: Evie was one of the nicest people I have known. She was so positive and fun! I admired the person she was, and saw her as a role model. She was so wonderful to my father and my whole family. We loved her. I'm happy I got to talk with her a few weeks ago. She was her usual happy, sharp as a tack self. What a great mind...I only wish I could have her memory. I always wanted her to come back for a visit to Arizona, but she couldn't be talked into it. She was a pleasure to spend time with. To her family, whom she loved so much, I am truly sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Ed, Sue and families,
Aunt Evie was a treasure. I can hear her easy, contagious laugh. She was thoughtful, fun and surprising, smart, grounded, always enjoyed a visit over coffee and cookies with family and friends, and always had a way of saying things are going to be o.k. We give thanks and celebrate Aunt Evie's life, and entrust her to God's goodness.

My love and prayers and thoughts are with you guys.
