Patricia "Pat" M. Frederickson, 84, of Marshalltown, entered into eternal life Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at Pursel Davis Funeral and Cremation Care. Visitation will be held 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League or Quakerdale. Pat was born June 22, 1926 in Marshalltown Iowa to Ivan and Leona (Jones) Steinmayer. She graduated from Marshalltown High School and married Rick Frederickson September 21, 1947 at the Baptist Temple in Marshalltown.
She worked at Lennox in the stenography department until she and Rick began having children.
Pat was member of First Baptist Church in Marshalltown, American Legion Ladies Auxillary, LAFEMS, Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, Elks Ladies and a 50 year member of the Marshalltown Womens Bowling Association.
She enjoyed golf, bowling and playing the penny machines at Meskwaki.
Pat will be greatly missed by her husband of 63 years Rick and children Terry of Marshalltown and Cindy of Ames.
