Condolences

Condolence From: Mark Whitehill
Condolence: Buzz and Family,
Was sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you today. Ralph was a second father as a child and a good friend as I grew older. I will always have many memories of the times spent at the caboose on the Iowa river to conversations at Lake Rathbun. I will miss that distinctive voice as he would yell out, "Hello, Markie!"

Condolence: Dear Teacher / Mentor Ralph,

We are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. To know you and how you have touched our lives truly makes us wish we could have known him and your mother.

This year our world has lost many beautiful people, your father being one of them. We feel that you have touched our lives in such a meaningful and positive manner, Mr. Young, that we just know how proud both of your parents would be to know what an incredible son they have in you. We appreciate you beyond description the way you have given to our family by caring and teaching our son, Jordan. You are a beautiful soul, Mr. Young.

God bless you and your family as you go through this life changing chapter in your life. We pray for you and hope that your beautiful memories of your father and mother bring you comfort in the hours, days, months and years to come.

You are thought of with love and compassion by us and many others. Take good care,God Bless, Jordan, Jared & Terri DeGroot

Condolence: Ralph was a special friend to all of us who grew up with Buzz and John. We enjoyed his company and hunting with him. Etched in my memory was Ralph working the chains at Franklin Field football games on Friday night. The Bobcats could always count on that extra inch for a first down! We will miss Ralph.

Condolence: Johnny, Buzz, and Mary Your dad was an amazing man who I was proud to call my friend. I worked at Bridgeview for years when your mom and dad still had the little camper across the street. I learned alot from your dad. He told me things about cooking and country music that I would have never known otherwise. Also taught me some fishing tricks! He was always good to me and my children and had the best fireworks. Underneath that gruff exterior was a old softy and a wonderful man who I am proud to say was my friend. My prayers are with you all during the loss of your dad.

Condolence: It has really been a privelege to know Ralph and enjoy being his neighbor for the time he lived at Lake Rathbun. We live the first house West of him and he was a very good neighbor. We were priveleged to enjoy "Ralph Candy" every Christmas. He also delivered appple bars tous when we both had broken arms. Always a wave and a visit from Ralph were welcome. Our sympathy to all his family and friends,
Sincerely.
