Ildra E. Koett, 92, Marshalltown, IA, entered into eternal life, Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Iowa River Hospice House, in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, in State Center, IA. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Pursel Davis Funeral and Cremation Care, in Marshalltown. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, in Marshalltown. Ildra was born August 14, 1919 to William and Magdelena (Leininger) Hilleman, in State Center. She was educated in the State Center schools, graduating from State Center High School, in 1936. She attended Central Iowa Business College. Ildra was united in marriage to Gene Koett on August 17, 1984 in Marshalltown. She was employed with Witwer for five years then McGregors Furniture in Marshalltown for 35 years in the accounting office. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in State Center. She also attended St. Mary Catholic Church, in Marshalltown.

Ildra will be missed by her family including her niece, Priscilla Meeks, three nephews, Dr. David Lohr, Brian Johnson, and Paul Herrald, and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, stepson, Bill; four sisters, Helen Morrison, Lucille Herrald, Frances Johnson, and Ruth Iacovelli.
