Ruth Kelley, 94, of Liscomb, IA passed away, Sunday, October 9, 2011, in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm. Friday, October 14, 2011, at Pursel Davis Funeral and Cremation Care, in Marshalltown. Visitation will be Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home. Ruth was born March 5, 1917 to Harry and Edeth (Bailey) Arterburn, in LaPlata, MO. She graduated from Green Mountain High School in 1934. Ruth was united in marriage to Donald E. Kelley November 4, 1939. He died in 1968. She was employed at Montgomery Ward Catalog Dept for many years. Most recently she was employed with the Union-Whitten State Savings Bank in the Liscomb office, retiring after 20 years.

Ruth will be missed by her three children; Gary (Brenda) Kelley of Soda Springs, ID, Edeth Kay Case of Marshalltown, IA, Jerry (Jo) Kelley of Newton, IA, eight grandchildren, Terri (Mike) Goodman of Whitten, Douglas (Chris) Case of Fayetteville AR., Beth (Mike) Lahr of Urbandale, Kristy Kelley of Marshalltown, Todd (Angi) Kelley of Albion, Troy (Brenda) Kelley of Albion, Don ( Melissa) Kelley of Eldora, Tim Kelley of Marshalltown, fourteen great grandchildren, a daughter in law, Sandy Kelley of Albion, a sister in law, Betty Arterburn, of Marshalltown, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Michael Kelley, four brothers; Clem, Clay, Paul, and Dale Arterburn, and a son-in-law, Larry Case.
